Deadline August 31 (must be received by this date). Named for Oscar Wilde's infamous lover, Bosie Magazine, an online journal of "fiction about queers behaving badly", seeks submissions of unpublished short stories, 5,000 words maximum, by LGBTQ-identified authors for their second annual issue. Editors say: "We're looking for queer-centric short fiction that indulges in the cruel, the painful, the indecent and the decadent. We want stories that are, as Wilde once described Bosie Douglas, 'witty, graceful, lovely to look at, lovable to be with,' but that '[have] also ruined [your] life.' Style is necessary; a happily-ever-after is not." Accepted authors receive $15.
