DSC Prize for South Asian Literature
Deadline May 10 (must be received by this date), formerly May 20. Highly recommended free contest awards $25,000 for a published novel or novella, 25,000 words minimum, which predominantly features themes based on South Asian culture, politics, history, or people. Entries must have been first published in English between April 15 of the previous year and April 5 of the deadline year. Must be submitted by publisher. Limit two titles per publisher imprint. The book should be an original work in English, or first published in English translation, during the eligibility period. Contest sponsor DSC Ltd. is an infrastructure development company in India. Send 7 copies of book as well as completed entry form to the prize committee by courier.
