Deadline November 30 (must be received by this date). Black Lawrence Press seeks submissions of craft essays, 700-5,000 words, for an anthology to welcome new poets to the discipline and community of poetry writing. Essays may be creative or academic, but should be accessible to a general audience. Suggested themes: First Words, Poetry Workshop, The Poet's Journey, Family & Work, The Poet in the World.
