Lucien Stryk Asian Translation Prize
Deadline April 20 (must be received by this date), formerly April 15. Recommended free contest awards $5,000 for a book of poetry or prose translated from an Asian language (i.e., Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Kannada, Korean, Sanskrit, Tamil, Thai, or Vietnamese) into English and published in the previous year. Translations of Zen Buddhist source texts are also eligible. May be submitted by publisher or translator. Complete nomination form online, then send hard copies of the book submitted to the judges requesting them via the addresses provided in the online entry confirmation email.
