Deadline March 15 (must be received by this date). WayWords is a literary journal published by The Writer's Workout, a resource site with writing prompts and challenges. For their second issue, they are seeking poetry, fiction, and essays on the theme of Heritage: "Explore the sense of identity connected to family, community, or clan socialization." They would also like to see personal essays for a Tribute section honoring teachers. Send one prose piece, maximum 5,000 words, or two poems, maximum 15 lines each. "Due to licensing restrictions, The Writer's Workout cannot accept religious or political topics. Editors will refuse pandemic topics and erotica."
