C. Lynn Shaffer is a former winner of an Association of Writers & Writing Programs (AWP) Intro Award in poetry and a semi-finalist in Louisiana Literature's poetry competition. She has published poetry in journals such as Clackamas Literary Review and Wind magazine, as well as book reviews in Cream City Review, BookMuse and The Compulsive Reader (online). Her poem, "Camera Obscura", won First Place in the 2000 Beauty for Ashes Poetry Review Contest. She teaches English at Maysville Community College and lives in Paris, Kentucky with her husband Steve and their two cats.
