Waste Band
Frog and toad went abroad
To win a prize, through a fraud
Or at least to reach semi-final.
They both leaped in daylight broad
Frog and toad, Ha! Ha! Ha!
O my Lord!
Through the road
To feed and hoard
Frog and toad went abroad.
Rubbed their backs on the window pane
Like the yellow fog, Treu!
The cruelest month April is
Breeding season out of quest.
Leaped on frost
They tasted toast
Frog and toad
Through the road,
Stretched like a patient
Etherized upon a table
They met a fox
The greatest hoax
Out of Pandora's box
But like an ox
It came in socks!
Those that are pearls were his eyes, look!
Shakesephereian frog!
Frog! Frog! Frog! O frog!
Toad! Toad! Toad! O Toad!
They tread much in the night
And go south in the winter:
Frog and toad are mad again
Shanthi! Shanti! Shantihi!
