Vweta Chadwick Poetry Prize
Deadline June 22 (must be received by this date), formerly June 30. Neutral free contest for female high school and college students in Nigeria gives four prizes of 125,000 Nigerian naira (approximately US$80) apiece for unpublished, English-language poems, 40 lines maximum, on a theme that changes annually. For 2025, the theme is "Hear Our Voice; Heal This Land". There will be one winner in the Senior category (Tertiary Institution females, aged 18–26) and three winners in the Junior category (Senior High School females, aged 15–20). Submit 1 poem via Google submission form on sponsor's website.
