Barbara Carpenter

Barbara Carpenter's writing interests include novels and short stories, as well as poetry. With three novels and two biographies in print, she has numerous other works in progress. She is a regular contributor to various anthologies and magazines. An avid reader of all genres, Carpenter also enjoys painting with oils and acrylics. She and her husband live in a woods beside a small lake in Central Illinois, where regular visitors include a herd of deer, wild turkeys, coyotes and rumors of cougars.
