Cayla Printz
Cayla Printz is from a suburban town north of Philadelphia. She received her M.B.A. from Florida Institute of Technology and her undergraduate degree in special education from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania. This is the first time she has been a finalist for a writing contest and is beyond ecstatic. She recently finished her first book, a humor novel, Adventures in Education. The novel depicts the various bizarre encounters she's had while working in alternative education. She submitted the manuscript to a literary agent and is optimistic while awaiting a response. Her taste in writing and reading is much like her—eclectic, but humor is where she has always found solace.
Cayla lives with her husband, Colton, and their mini-circus of animals, and avidly likes to explore the world. Beautiful towns in Pennsylvania filled with quirky people are where she finds inspiration to write. In every experience and encounter she sees a story waiting to be discovered. She is a lover of the mystic universe, animals, and her fun and dysfunctional family. In addition to being a published author she also aspires to be an alpaca farmer.
