Dennis Arlo Voorhees
Unafraid of the generic darkness or sugary sunlight that laces his twenty-first century breath, Arlo Voorhees is dragging the moon back to modern poetry, stuffing star-filled metaphors down the throats of old poets. His poems and stories have appeared in Humdinger, Ephemeris, Make More Love, Hot Metal Press, and a few other places. His self-published chapbook, Milk Replacer, can be found at Powells and in the milk rooms of dairy farms across America. He is the host of the Broken Word Poetry Reading, which occurs every Tuesday night in northeast Portland, Oregon.
