Emily was raised in the mountains of southern New Mexico. Her formal education has been diverse, including fine arts, interior design and ranch management, and she recently graduated from The Evergreen State College with a focus in writing. Her work has been published in Crab Creek Review. As an Army mechanic, she served in Korea and deployed twice to Iraq. She currently lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico where she enjoys hiking with her dog, Arrow, leaving love letters in library books and sipping chocolate elixirs on sunny afternoons.
