Jim Nawrocki

Jim Nawrocki was born in Toledo, Ohio and is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, where he received a B.A. in English, and the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where he received an M.A. in English. For the past 25 years, he has held a variety of journalism, publishing, marketing, and corporate communications positions. He has also taught English at universities and colleges in Ohio, Michigan, and Illinois. His poetry has appeared in Poetry, Kyoto Journal, Nimrod, Arroyo Literary Review, The Gay & Lesbian Review Worldwide, Chelsea Station, and the website poetrydaily.com, as well as many other journals. It's also been included in the anthologies The Place That Inhabits Us: Poems of the San Francisco Bay Watershed (Sixteen Rivers Press, 2010) and Art & Understanding: Literature from the First Twenty Years of A&U (Black Lawrence Press, 2014). He lives in San Francisco with his partner and cat.
