Madelaine Caritas Longman was born in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, and grew up in Calgary, Alberta. She now lives and writes in Montreal. Her poetry has appeared or is scheduled to appear in Room, filling Station, Frogpond, and Matrix, among other publications.
Madelaine attends Concordia University, where she is completing a master's degree in English with a concentration in creative writing. She is currently working on her first book.
