Sejong Cultural Society Sijo Writing Competition
Deadline February 28 (must be received by this date), formerly February 29. Neutral free contest from the Sejong Cultural Society awards prizes up to $1,000 for an English-language sijo poem, 3 lines maximum, by US and Canadian residents on any topic. Be sure to read more about this Korean poetic form in the resources provided on the sponsor's rules page. Entrants must participate in their age-appropriate division: Adult (19+) or Pre-college (18 and under); college students who are 18 as of the deadline date must participate in the adult category. Limit one sijo per author. Enter online.
