TCU Texas Book Award
Deadline October 3, formerly November 1. Recommended free contest awards $5,000 for the best book of fiction, nonfiction, art or photography about Texas, which was published in the past three years (i.e., between 2022 and 2024 for the "2026" award). All genres compete together. Offered every three years. Author, publisher, agent, or any interested party should send 3 copies of the book. Winner must give speech at awards banquet in Fort Worth.
