The Final Girl Review
Deadline December 15 (must be received by this date). The Final Girl Review is a new online literary journal specializing in the horror genre. They publish short fiction, poetry, artwork, academic and critical essays, reviews of new or classic horror books and films, and creative nonfiction ("memoir, reflection, or essay-style narratives that explore fear, trauma, the uncanny, or personal brushes with the unsettling"). Submissions will be accepted year-round on a rolling basis. Editor Amanda Loesch confirmed that mid-December would be the deadline for Issue #1, scheduled for publication in February.
