BK Loren

BK Loren's novel Theft was awarded the Mountains and Plains Independent Booksellers award, a Willa (Cather) award, and was a finalist for the Lambda award, among others. Her essay collection Animal, Mineral, Radical garnered the Colorado book award, and BK is thankful for the fellowships, grants and awards each essay brought her way. She lives in Colorado with her partner/wife of 31 years, two cats, and one dog. The acquisitions editor for her first book, The Way of the River, told her she wrote like she was raised by wolves. She tries to live up to that daily.
