Emily Jiang

The daughter of Chinese-American immigrants, Emily Jiang received an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from Saint Mary's College of California and a B.A. in English from Rice University. She is also a graduate of the Clarion Writers' Workshop in San Diego and the Napa Valley Writers' Conference. Her fiction has received several honors, including the Top Prose Prize for The Binnacle Ultra-Short Competition, and two of her poems are forthcoming in Stone Telling. She wrestles with words every day. Sometimes she wins. Most times it's a draw.
