Shawn M. Klimek is the middle child of seven creative siblings, a globetrotting, US military spouse, internationally best-selling short-story writer and butler to a Maltese. His poetry can be read in the digital magazines NewMyths, Dastaan World, Pendora, and Inner Circle Writers, and in the print anthologies Cadence, Windows, Cocky Tales, and Organic Ink, Vol. 1. His first solo book of poetry, the dark fantasy epic The Hungry Thing (illustrated by Norbert Somosi), is seeking a publisher.
Besides poetry, more than eighty of his short stories have been published online or in anthologies, including his winning humor story, "Pregenesis", in Gold: The Best of Inner Circle Writers Group Anthologies, Vol. 1, 2017/2018.
