20.35 Africa Anthology
Deadline March 16 (must be received by this date). 20.35 Africa, a publisher and cultural organization dedicated to supporting the new generation of African poets, seeks submissions of unpublished poems, 40 lines maximum per poem, for their fourth annual anthology. Authors should be African poets who are between the ages of 20 (or who would be 20 by the time of publication) and 35. For purposes of this submission call, an African poet is someone born in Africa, or whose parents (at least one) are African, or someone who currently lives in Africa and has done so for at least 10 years. The editors of this project are Nadra Mabrouk, winner of the 2019 Brunel International African Poetry Prize, and K. Eltinae, winner of the 2019 Beverly Prize for International Literature from Eyewear Publishing. See website for formatting guidelines.
