BLF Press: Black Joy Unbound Anthology
Deadline December 31 (must be received by this date). BLF Press is a Black feminist publishing house dedicated to amplifying the work of Black, Indigenous, and queer women of color. They are seeking poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and hybrid-genre work for the forthcoming anthology Black Joy Unbound. Inspired by a deep longing for writing that embodies the vivacity of Blackness and Black life, this anthology will envision what Black writing would look like if it were imbued with characters and themes centered on joy and delight. Prose pieces should be 2,000-5,000 words. Two poems may be submitted as one entry. Two submissions per person are welcome, although only one may be selected for publication. Contributors will receive $75 and a print edition of the anthology.
