Imagine 2200: Climate Fiction for Future Ancestors
Deadline June 24 (must be received by this date), formerly June 13. Recommended free contest gives prizes up to $3,000 and web publication for unpublished climate fiction short stories, 2,500-5,000 words, that imagine "a clean, green, and just world" as well as "a truly equitable, decolonized society". Winner also receives the opportunity to participate in Oregon State University's Environmental Writing Fellowship and Residency, which includes a four-week writing residency and an additional $3,000 honorarium.
