Independence Literary Review: “Healthcare and Healing” Folio
Deadline October 1 (must be received by this date). Independence Literary Review, a print and online journal published by Baylor University, is currently open to submissions of unpublished poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and artwork. In addition to open-theme submissions, they are reading for a folio section in the next issue on the theme of "Healthcare and Healing". Send 1-5 poems, maximum 15 pages total; one story or essay, up to 7,500 words; 1-3 flash prose pieces, 1,000 words maximum apiece; or 8-10 artworks.
