Steam Ticket
Deadline March 1 (must be received by this date). Launched in 1996, Steam Ticket is the student-produced literary journal of the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse. They are open to submissions of unpublished poetry, literary short fiction, and creative nonfiction for their 2025 issue. Send 3-5 poems, maximum 50 lines each, or one prose piece, 5,000 words maximum. Back issues are free to read on their website.
