Winning Writers Announces the Winners of the 26th Annual Tom Howard/John H. Reid Fiction & Essay Contest
Charlie Schneider of Brooklyn, New York won first prize in fiction and $2,000 for his story, "Lulu". Ryan Ireland of Alpha, Ohio won first prize in nonfiction and $2,000 for his essay, "Circumambulatory Cacozelia". Elizabeth Brina won second prize and $500 for her essay, "How They Met". 1,572 entries were received from around the world.
