Christopher Lessick, originally from Greensburg, PA, teaches composition and literature at Great Bridge High School in Chesapeake, VA and at Tidewater Community College. He completed his MFA in Creative Writing at Murray State University (KY) in 2012, and has a short story forthcoming in The Evansville Review. Chris is a firm believer that sticks, stones, and the most deftly chosen words—if and when chosen and arranged precisely, meticulously (and without adverbs)—may, in fact, break bones, but can also save the world someday. He and his wife have two children, two golden retrievers, a cat, and an assortment of chickens.
