Jen Stewart Fueston is a writer and teacher. She spent most of her early adulthood obtaining degrees, traveling widely, and teaching internationally. Now as a mom of two young sons, she works from home in suburban Colorado. She publishes regularly in anthologies and journals such as Ruminate, Christian Century, and Mom Egg Review. She is a Pushcart Prize nominee, and published her first chapbook, Visitations, with Finishing Line Press in 2015. Her second, Latch, was published by River Glass Books in 2019.
Before returning to her home state of Colorado to teach writing at CU Boulder, Jen taught high school English in Budapest, Hungary. She has also taught rhetoric, literature, and creative writing to university students in Klaipeda, Lithuania and academic writing for international graduate students as part of the Open Society Institute's scholarship program in Istanbul, Turkey. She holds degrees in rhetoric, composition, and literature from Colorado State University and Bethel University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
