Independence Literary Review: Healthcare and Healing Folio
Deadline October 1 (must be received by this date). Independence Literary Review is a publication of Baylor University, a Christian college in Texas. They are currently seeking submissions of unpublished poetry, prose, and artwork related to healthcare, illness, and healing. (General submissions are also open at this time.) Send 1-5 poems, maximum 15 pages; one story or essay, 7,500 words maximum; 1-3 flash fiction pieces, maximum 1,000 words each; or 8-10 artworks. This is a paying market. Nonfiction may be personal essays, cultural criticism, graphic narratives, or speculative memoir.
