Love Letters to London Writing Competition
Deadline December 20 (must be received by this date), formerly December 1. Recommended free contest from The London Society awards four top prizes of 500 pounds for writing in any form and style, 40 lines maximum for poetry and 500 words maximum for prose, on the theme of "Dreams for London", describing "your passions, hopes, and dreams for this incredible city". Prizes will be given in each of the following four categories: Aged 11 and under, 12-18 year olds, Open--all other entrants, and Poetry. Entries must have been written during the deadline year, and they may have been previously published. Submit up to three entries via email or by post.
