Money Chronicles: A Story Initiative
Deadline October 12 (must be received by this date; don't enter before September 8), formerly October 2. Recommended free contest gives $1,000 top prize and up to 20 prizes of $150 for unpublished short fiction and personal essays about our complex relationships with money and personal finance. Entries should be 7,500 characters maximum, including spaces. Only the first 400 submissions will be read, so send early. Co-sponsored by Short Édition, a French publishing house of short literature; Principal Foundation; and The Center for Fiction in NYC.
