Penny-Anne Beaudoin Wins the 16th Annual Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest
Penny-Anne Beaudoin of Amherstburg, Ontario won the 16th annual Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest sponsored by Winning Writers. Her entry, "The Magician's Assistant", bested those of 4,276 other poets to receive the $1,000 prize. Second prize of $250 was awarded to Mary Somerville of Nashville, Tennessee for "A Friend to All Is a Friend to None". A special Third Prize of $150 was awarded to Jennifer Teunon of Seattle, Washington for "Mind Over Mindfulness". $2,400 was awarded in all. This contest is free to enter.
