Congratulations to Susan Rosenbluth. Her crime novel Blurred Vision was released this month by Red Adept Publishing, a small press for genre fiction. Grounded in the author's experience as a journalist covering cult activity, this novel set in the 1980s explores the emotional grip of cults, the lingering effects of PTSD on law enforcement officers, and the ways manipulation can distort reality. Congratulations to Timothy W. Joseph. His novel Shyla's Cove won the 2026 International Impact Book Awards in the Contemporary Fiction - Romance category.
Congratulations to Daniel Meltz. His novel Rabbis of the Garden State (Rattling Good Yarns Press, 2025) won the 20th Annual National Indie Excellence Awards in the LGBTQIA Fiction category. This comedic coming-of-age novel follows a teenage boy in 1960s New Jersey as he and his mother both develop romantic obsessions with leaders in their synagogue.
Congratulations to J Brooke. Their debut poetry collection, I Can Tell You the Version That Will Make You Take My Side (Driftwood Press, 2026), was #17 on USA Today's Best-Selling Booklist of the 150 top-selling titles for the week of June 10. J says the secret of their success is: "I'm speaking to as many people as I can about the book—any book club that will listen!"

Winning Writers Editor Jendi Reiter's poem "Help! I've Been Invited to a Cuddle Party", from their new collection Introvert Pervert (The Word Works, 2026), was featured on Queer Poem-A-Day on July 2. Their poem "Why Do You Wear So Many Gay Shirts? Are You Angry?" was published at The Queer Love Project on July 5.
Jackie Domenus was interviewed by Reina Maiden-Navarro at the Sundress Reads blog about their book No Offense: A Memoir in Essays (ELJ Editions, 2025). "The memoir blends anecdote with sociopolitical fact to take a critical lens to the microaggressions that persist from an individual adolescence to adulthood, reflective of a larger experience in the LGBTQ+ community since the turn of the century. Domenus is honest, confessional, and passionate, crafting a book that is both relatable and educational." Jackie hosts the QT Nonfiction Podcast, with weekly interviews of queer and trans authors about their memoirs, essay collections, and journalism.
