The Sea Letter
Deadline October 30 (must be received by this date). Literary journal The Sea Letter is being relaunched after a 5-year hiatus by Houston-based writer Leo Gonzales, with poet Samantha Terrell as this year's guest Editor-in-Chief. They are currently open to submissions of unpublished poetry, fiction, literary nonfiction, illustrations, photography, and artwork. This is a good venue to submit excerpts from full-length prose manuscripts. See length limits and formatting requirements for each genre and read back issues on their website.
