The Sea Letter
Deadline October 30 (must be received by this date). Literary journal The Sea Letter is being relaunched after a 3-year hiatus by Houston-based writer Leo Gonzales, with poet Samantha Terrell as this year's guest editor. They are currently open to submissions of unpublished poetry, fiction, literary nonfiction, illustrations, photography, and artwork. This is a good venue to submit excerpts from full-length prose manuscripts. See length limits and formatting requirements for each genre and read back issues on their website.
