Workers Write! Tales from the Cleaners
Deadline December 31 (must be received by this date). Workers Write! is a journal and anthology publisher of working-class literature. For Issue #21, they are "looking for fiction and poetry about the people who clean up after everyone, such as maids, janitors, custodians, waste management workers, crime scene cleaners, and even laundromat owners." Submissions should be 500-5,000 words. Previously published material is eligible. Submissions may close early if they receive enough. Accepted authors will be paid between $5-$50 depending on length and rights requested.
