Carol writes both prose and poetry in many genres. Recently, a limerick she wrote was selected for use in advertising flyers for The Life Enrichment Center, a non-profit studio holding classes in drawing, painting, photography, board games, and much more. Carol has published a young adult fiction story in Beyond Appearances (Litton Educational Publishing) and several restaurant reviews in Creative Loafing, a popular weekly newspaper in the Tampa Bay Area, focusing on art, music, culture, and news. She has also had poetry published in Poetic Artistry and Creative Fires: Embers and Ashes in 2025. In addition, Carol is a colored pencil artist (formerly oils) and has had individual paintings hung over the years at Hillsborough Community College, The Florida State Fair, The Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Hillsborough County Libraries, Teco Art Shows, cafes and more.
