With degrees in English and education from St. Olaf College and Stanford University, Greg Wright started his career teaching high school writing classes in Minneapolis and Chicago. Eight years of helping students hone their craft helped Greg appreciate his own dedication to writing, and he left teaching in 2011 to commit more fully to writing. Now living in Central Wisconsin, Greg serves as the Executive Director of the Arts Alliance of Portage County, supporting both his own art and the local creative community. A fiction writer, essayist, and sociopolitical blogger, you can read more of Greg's writing in Avenida Books' Keeping the Faith in Education or at wrightandleft.blogspot.com.
