This is one of the most memorable things that has happened to me! Thank you. I am a retired teacher (K-12) and retired art gallery owner in a rural town in the Mother Lode of California. Mountain Ranch is a lovely little town in the Sierra Nevada Foothills of California. I belong to a writer's group "Writers Unlimited" and have been involved in editing several of the books published under its auspices: The Manzanita: Journal of the Mother Lode and Sierra and Glen Wassen's new book, Tales Mark Twain Would Have Loved to Steal. I have raised two daughters, many barn cats, several cows and misc. on our ten acre Paradise. About the picture: Ironstone is a winery where "Writers Unlimited" held a poets' reading for the "outing" of The Manzanita.
