Jane Ebihara took 26 years to get out of middle school where she taught literature until retirement in 2006. She has since authored three poetry chapbooks: A Little Piece of Mourning, A Reminder of Hunger and Wings, and This Edge of Rain. Ebihara's work has also been published in numerous literary journals and anthologies including Adanna Literary Review, U.S.1 Worksheets, Red River Book of Haibun, Tiferet, Paterson Literary Review, Gyroscope, and Sonic Boom among others. She has been a volunteer author for New Jersey Norwescap's Senior Life Stories Project, and has received a Geraldine Dodge Fellowship to the Fine Arts Workshop in Provincetown, MA. She is currently serving as Associate Editor of The Stillwater Review. Beyond wallowing in words, Ebihara dabbles in learning new skills like playing her djembe, tai chi, and grandparenting.
