I am a 1999 graduate of Villanova University in Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services and a double minor in Psychology and Sociology. Currently, I reside in Hoboken, New Jersey, and work as a Human Resources professional in New York City for a world wide Experiential Marketing company. Even though I can throw a mean football, my number one passion is writing. However, if I had to name a second it would spending time at my family’s beach house in Long Beach Island; no matter what season. I love to look for sea glass. Previous publications include short story "The Abduction" in Storied Crossings, Anthology of Short Story Contest Winners, 2000. "Chocolate Covered Crickets" has previously been published in Northwoods Journal, A Magazine for Writers, Volume X, Number 2, 2002. The sequence of events portrayed in this story is a true account of what I experienced first hand on September 11, 2001....and I managed to get home without a scratch.
Winning Entry: Chocolate Covered Crickets
