Juliana Delany has worked for more than three decades as a freelance marketing writer and editor. A manic reader of fiction from early childhood, she began writing her own stories during the pandemic of 2020 as a way to quell anxiety, quiet demons, and honor family. Juliana holds a Bachelor's in English from Albright College and a Master's in Publication Management from Drexel University. Her story "Trespass Point" won the 2023 Verdi L. Tripp Fiction Award and was published in the Joy of the Pen online literary journal. Her short story collection, Trespass Point and Other Stories, was a finalist in the 2023 Maine Chapbook Series. Juliana is a member of the Maine Writers and Publishers Alliance.
Along with her husband, Jack, Juliana is a dual resident of the Philadelphia region, where she was born and raised, and Downeast Maine, the setting for "Trespass Point". A mother of four, she loves to bike, kayak, paint, and garden, and she is fond of dogs and wild birds.
