Nicole Nelson is a fiction writer and poet who recently mustered the courage to send her work into the world. She lives in Virginia with her husband and three boys and is currently enrolled in the MFA program at National University for Creative Writing. While writing has always been her first love, she has been a teacher, an editor, a public relations director, and a professional community volunteer. Nicole loves the international aspect of the game of soccer and spends most Sunday afternoons cheering on her three boys from the sidelines. She is very honored to win an award in the Sports Fiction Contest at Winning Writers.
