Serrina Zou is a fourth-year undergraduate at Columbia University, where she will soon graduate with a BA in Creative Writing and Sociology. Her poetry and prose have been recognized internationally by the Bridport Poetry Prize, the Alpine Fellowship Poetry Prize, the Poetry Society of the U.K., the Cincinnati Review Robert and Adele Schiff Award in Poetry, and the Black Warrior Review Flash Fiction Contest, among others. Serrina's work appears or is forthcoming in The Rumpus, The Cincinnati Review, Palette Poetry, AAWW: The Margins, OSU: The Journal, Passages North, and elsewhere. She has been nominated for the 2022 Pushcart Prize and Best Microfictions 2023. Outside of writing, Serrina adores Philz Coffee, long walks with friends, discovering independent bookstores, inventing new recipes for baked treats, and mid-afternoon naps.
