Justine Hudock Wins the 19th Annual Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest
Justine Hudock of Cortlandt Manor, NY won the 19th annual Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest sponsored by Winning Writers and co-sponsored by Duotrope. Her entry, "LSD", bested those of 5,071 other poets to receive the $1,000 prize. Second prize of $250 was awarded to Andrew Maust of State College, PA for "The Challenge". A special Third Prize of $150 was awarded to David Leo Sirois of Madawaska, ME for "I Hear the Bank of America Singing". $2,600 was awarded in all. This contest is free to enter.
