Koss Wins the 20th Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest
US-based poet Koss won the 20th annual Wergle Flomp Humor Poetry Contest sponsored by Winning Writers and co-sponsored by Duotrope. Her entry, "My Therapist Sez", bested those of 5,687 other poets to receive the $2,000 prize. Second prize of $500 was awarded to Marcus Bales of Elyria, OH for "Corvid Nineteen". A special Third Prize of $250 was awarded to J. Clark Hubbard of Jackson, TN for "God!" $3,850 was awarded in all. This contest is free to enter. Read the complete press release.
