Kenyon Review: Three Themed Features
Deadline September 30 (must be received by this date). The Kenyon Review, a prestigious university journal, is open to submissions of unpublished poetry, short fiction, personal essays, plays, and excerpts from longer prose works, during the month of September. They are seeking work for three themed features in upcoming issues: "Extinction," "Writing from Rural Spaces," and "Literary Curiosities." Entries not on these themes are also welcomed. Send 1-6 poems; one story or essay, up to 7,500 words, or 1-3 flash prose pieces, up to 1,000 words each; up to 30 pages of drama; or an excerpt of up to 30 double-spaced pages from longer fiction or literary nonfiction projects. This is a paying market.
