Con Corazón en la Mano: Writing the Heartland

Con Corazón en la Mano: Writing the Heartland is a forthcoming creative nonfiction anthology from Minnesota Historical Society Press, focusing on the experiences of Latina/o/x and Chicana/o/x writers and artists with a connection to the Midwest. Editors seek to represent as many Midwestern states as possible: North and South Dakota, Kansas, Nebraska, Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, and Indiana. They are open to a variety of genres, including short-form (1,500 words max) and long-form (3,000-7,500 words) essays, black and white visual art, literary collage, photo-essays, and comics.
