Public School Poetry
Launched in 2023, Public School Poetry is a twice-yearly online journal of poetry and criticism. They accept about 10 poets for each issue, on the condition that they will write a 5-paragraph essay about another accepted contributor's work, randomly assigned by the editors. Their submission periods are April 15-June 1 and October 15-December 1. Editors say, "We are not asking for school-specific poems or student-specific submitters." Authors published in their journal have included Matthew E. Henry, Amorak Huey, Sally Rosen Kindred, and Robbie Q. Telfer.
