Sundress Publications: Transmasculine Poetics Anthology
Deadline April 30 (must be received by this date). Sundress Publications seeks submissions from transmasculine poets for an online anthology to be released in Fall 2023. Transmasculine Poetics: Filling the Gaps in Literature & the Silences Around Us will be edited by Remi Recchia, author of Quicksand/Stargazing (Cooper Dillon Books, 2021) and Sober (Red Bird Chapbooks, 2022). Send 1-3 poems and a short bio (about 50 words). Previously published work is eligible if you own the reprint rights and credit the original publisher. Early submission is recommended, as work will be assessed as it arrives. Post–acceptance, contributors will be asked to produce a 100–300 word statement on their poetic practice to be included alongside their work. Both formal and experimental work will be considered. Works may, but are not required to, engage in themes such as body dysmorphia, gender transition, gender-affirming surgery, etc.
